Love Bite, a beautifully textured cake finished with mini heart piping and double layered cursive text. Our Love Bite cake is perfect for small weddings, elopements, and any special occasions.

You can customise the shape, size, colours, or add piped text to make it your own. The cake pictured is a heart 8 inch 3 layer.

Product variants

Each cake is individually crafted, and colors are hand-mixed, so there may be slight variations from the photo. Piping details may also differ depending on the size chosen. If you select your own color palette, we will do our best to match it as closely as possible, but please note there may be limitations due to food colouring and the fact that buttercream is not pure white.

Pick up location & hours

You can pick up your order at our studio, located at 627 High Street, Thornbury. Pick-ups are scheduled for the selected date. Our studio hours are:

Thursday to Friday: from 11 am - 4 pm
Saturday: from 9 am - 2 pm

If you cannot make it at the scheduled time, you are welcome to come in anytime before we close.

Delivery

For delivery, select "ship" at checkout. Available within 20km of our Thornbury studio. Your cake will arrive between 11 am - 4 pm, with ETA sent on the morning of delivery.

If you need the cake within these hours, we recommend opting for pick-up or scheduling delivery for the day before. Our cakes keep beautifully in the fridge overnight!

If your address isn’t showing, unfortunately, you’re outside our delivery zone. You are welcome to organize a courier service or Uber to pick up your cake, but please note that we are not responsible for any damage once the cake has left our premises.

Before the party!

Our cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature, as this is when their flavour and texture are at their very best. Your cake will be prepared fresh and kept refrigerated before collection or delivery to ensure it travels safely.

If you're collecting your cake on the day of your event, please allow enough time for it to come to room temperature before serving. As a general guide, allow approximately 2-3 hours in warmer weather and 4-6 hours during cooler months.

If you're collecting your cake the day before your event, simply store it in the refrigerator overnight and remove it with enough time to come to room temperature before serving.

As storage recommendations may vary depending on the season and weather conditions, we'll provide any additional care instructions when you collect your cake or upon delivery

Changes to order

All orders are final, so please check, check and check again, before checking out!

To change the piped message on top of your cake, please let us know 72hrs or more before the pick up/delivery date via email at info@malibakes.com.

For any other enquiries, email us at info@malibakes.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your enquiry. These may not always be possible, and may incur an extra fee.

Cancellation policy

Once place, your order is subject to our cancellation policy below:

More than 72hrs before order pick up/delivery – 25% admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Within 72hrs of order pick up/delivery – No refund will be offered as we will have begun the process of creating your beautiful cake. Please let us know if you’d like your cake picked up by/delivered to
someone else to enjoy!

Note
We will take into account the date we receive contact from you regarding the cancellation, including days when we aren’t open.

Your admin fee can not be used towards other orders.

Delivery fees are non-refundable within 72hrs of cake delivery as our couriers are booked in advance; this includes changing from delivery to pick up.
